Renovation ...
. . . the name of the game early on! Purchase of a home, rental house, barn, steel building and acreage was a much bigger undertaking than we originally imagined. But with four of us here what could go wrong. Not much went wrong, however, managing everything once reno was complete was a significant challenge -- we are up to it!
We still have lots of goals, including perhaps rebuilding a crumbling barn, building a 2,000 ft light plane runway, operating a sawmill, managing our Harvest Host site, and much more. We will have enough excitement to take us into total retirement.
Rachel n Randy's Australian kids and grandkids joined them in a vacation to Hawaii. It started out very challenging but they had a great time -- helicopter ride over active volcano, visit with friends in Hilo, drove by the Bradshaw Air Base (probably no relation) but fun to stop. Here are a few of our favorite photos.

ATV, Walking, Running Trails
Each of the trails on our property have been appropriately named, including the ponds. Names include Terwillegar Trek, with a Star Trek spaceship on top of the sign post. Other names include Macy Mile, Haas Hollar, Pannekoek Pond. Each destination is identified with a hand made signpost.

Dave & Soni Do Cubs Fantasy Baseball Camp
Three strikes and you are out, at the old ball game. "I may just have to experience Cubs Fantasy Baseball Camp in Arizona again," says Dave. " "What a hoot! Soni even enjoyed every minute of it as well as my family of supporters."
The Future is Bright
In addition to managing life here at Cyber Air Acres, we plan to travel throughout the United States. Who knows, we may take a trip back to Australia to see Aussie relatives. Stay tuned for more fun . . .
